Our Conable House Community Residence, located in Bath, NY, is an eight-bed, co-ed residence, serving children ages 5-12 years who may otherwise be placed in psychiatric inpatient or residential treatment facilities. Services provided improve and enhance the social, emotional and functional behaviors of the children while enabling them to live in a community-based setting, attend local schools, and participate in the cultural and social opportunities of the area. Program staff work closely with each family, supporting and engaging them in the treatment process. The Conable House is dedicated to reuniting the child with his or her family whenever possible, or returning to a more normative living environment in as short a time as possible. This program serves children from Steuben, Chemung, Schuyler, Yates, Ontario, Allegany and Seneca Counties and is licensed by the NYS Office of Mental Health.
