An open heart and an open home
Therapeutic Foster Care

There are 25,397 children and youth in foster care in New York State (adoptuskids.org). Become a Resource (foster) Parent and provide a local home to keep children and youth in their community.

The Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) program promotes a team approach to foster care to achieve the permanency planning goal of strengthening the family unit and reuniting the youth and family whenever possible, or assisting the youth in the adoption process, and/or connecting youth to permanency resources and alternative planned living arrangements.
