Pathways, Inc. Receives Generous Donation from Pladis Global (Big Flats, NY) Employees

Corning, NY—September 17, 2019—On Monday, September 16, Pathways, Inc., received a generous donation of $1,150 from the employees at Pladis Global in Big Flats, New York. In July, during their annual Company Picnic, they held a raffle with all proceeds benefitting the Pathways, Inc. Therapeutic Foster Care program offered to children in the community.

The Pladis Global Events Planning Committee worked with their leadership to provide a week’s worth of vacation as the raffle prize at the Company Picnic in July. More than 70% of Pladis employees participated and gave generously to support the children in their community.

Pathways, Inc. Children and Family Services provide in-home, community, and foster care services and care coordination to youth with serious emotional disturbances, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and chronic medical conditions. 

Pathways, Inc. President and CEO, Joseph Cevette said, “This donation will go a long way toward giving the children and youth in our Therapeutic Foster Care program support with coping skills and sensory input items. For example, the donation would give us the ability to purchase music playing devices, yoga or exercise DVDs, or exercise equipment to help with coping skills, and sensory items like weighted blankets and vests, cocoon blankets, water/sand tables, and stress balls. We truly appreciate the employees at Pladis Global in Big Flats, and wish to thank them for their generosity.”
